Windmills & Wooden Shoes: Amsterdam to Copenhagen (11 Days)

In Amsterdam, one's initial attention is focused on the picturesque canals that make the very first moments here feel like one has landed in a storybook. But a deeper look into the culture, and visits to the historical sites, brings a better understanding of Europe's north, through Germany's north country and its second largest city to Denmark, where a special charm takes hold. Quaint Copenhagen, home of Hans Christen Andersen, and his Little Mermaid statue, shows a real admiration for his literary achievements and the legends and history of these fascinating countries.
