Justizzentrum Leoben Prison - Leoben
Justice Center Leoben is a court and prison complex in Leoben, Austria, designed by architect Joseph Hohensinn, completed in November 2004. With 205 inmates, the prison is fully booked. It is often referred to as a five star prison, more like a resort than a detention facility. It’s a grand, beautiful, and ultra-chic building boasting a modern design and fantastic amenities and landscaping. There are two inscriptions on the prison's perimeter: "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights," which is taken from The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and "All persons deprived of their liberty shall be treated with humanity and with respect for the inherent dignity of the human person."
